What each video generator's policy lets you put on screen
This file quotes the usage policies, content rules and terms of 27 AI video tools and labels what each says about age, violence, intimacy, minors, real people, brands and enforcement. Each label points back to its source sentence, with a reading date. As of 2026-09-25.
One block per generator, in alphabetical order, set out like the rating line under a film poster. The box is the minimum age its terms state, NR where they state none or the page could not be read; the line beside it lists what the policy names on each content field; the last line says whether it publishes a way to appeal.
Inclusion rule. The 27 tools in the register; a policy addresses a field when its text says anything on it. Order. The order the fields appear in on every tool page.
A short drama is built from scenes that policies care about: a fight in an alley, a kiss that ends an episode, a villain with a gun, a cameo that looks like someone famous. Whether a generator will render those scenes, and what happens to the account when it refuses, is written down by each vendor, in language that varies from a single comma-separated sentence to a rulebook with defined terms.
This file does the reading once and keeps the words. It does not say what is lawful and it does not grade vendors; it records what each text names, where it is silent, and whether it publishes a way to appeal.
Seven of the 27 texts publish an appeal route in writing. Ten tie use under eighteen to a parent or guardian in some way. And the likeness rules run from a bare rights clause through consent for anyone shown to one vendor that keeps prominent people off entirely, which matters more for drama than any single category of imagery.
Start from a tool if you already use one, from a rating if you care about one kind of scene, from a scene check if a script already has the fight, the kiss or the celebrity in it, or from the screen policies if a prompt or an account has been refused.
