1What this means for the scene

Defamation is a legal test rather than a style rule: a false statement of fact that harms a real person's reputation. These texts list defamatory content among things not to upload or generate, usually beside obscene or hateful material. Fiction about invented people is outside it; a dramatised claim about a real, identifiable person is the case it is written for. Parody has a page of its own here.

3Who addresses the field without naming it

On violence and gore, the texts of Adobe Firefly, Character App, Google Flow, Higgsfield, invideo, Kling AI, Krea, OpenArt and 5 more say something, but not about defamatory content (13 tools). Silent on the field altogether: LTX Studio and Luma AI.

4What one generator puts on screen

Policy wording in “Can an AI video story defame a real person” meets production here; SceneMixer's pages describe its side like this:

That is what the ad does: a generated person uses it in a real place.

The new name is written everywhere the old one stood: storyboard lines, episode titles and summaries, the scene lists and already-parsed dialogue.
