Reading a content policy before writing a script
A content policy is written for the vendor's moderators and lawyers, not for a writer, so the sentence that matters for a scene is rarely the first one. Start with the list of prohibited categories and find the noun that matches the scene: gore, nudity, minors, real people. From 6 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
A content policy is written for the vendor's moderators and lawyers, not for a writer, so the sentence that matters for a scene is rarely the first one. Start with the list of prohibited categories and find the noun that matches the scene: gore, nudity, minors, real people. Then read the verb in front of it. Depict, promote, glorify and facilitate describe very different things, and a policy that bars promoting violence has said less about a fight than one that bars depicting it.
Next, look for definitions. A few texts define their terms by example, and a definition turns a vague category into a checklist. Last, read the enforcement clause, because it tells you what a mistake costs.
Throughout, keep silence separate from permission. A text that does not mention violence has not allowed it.

2The making side of the policy
Policy wording in “Reading a content policy before writing a script” meets production here; SceneMixer's pages describe its side like this:
Doubao Seed 2.1 Pro is the family’s full-size tier at 100% of the base text rate, twice the default. Same three jobs — reading, writing, storyboards — with more headroom on long, crowded episodes: it holds the storyboard’s strict format more reliably and keeps track of many characters and locations in one pass.

SceneMixer turns a novel into a watchable short-drama series in one pipeline: upload the novel (Chinese or English) → AI extracts characters, scenes, and an episode-by-episode structure → generates consistent character and scene art → writes storyboard scripts → renders video segment by segment (16:9 by default, 9:16 in one setting) → composites full episodes.
