Moderation in video tools: who checks, and when
Moderation is the process a vendor uses to find content that breaks its rules. Below, HeyGen, Moonvalley, Runway and SceneMixer show how the wording varies. From 5 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
Moderation is the process a vendor uses to find content that breaks its rules. The texts here describe it in three ways: automated detection, human review, or both, and sometimes a reporting route for users.
For a production the important detail is timing. A check at generation blocks the output before it exists; a check after publication removes it later. Few texts say which they do, and none say how often.
